Chelsea boss Frank Lampard who is the first English manager to take charge as Chelsea boss in the past two decades has proved that an old hand can make an impact in the club.
The 42-year-old has guided Chelsea to the semifinal of the FA Cup after edging Leicester City by one goal. Chelsea also defeated Manchester City 2-1 to keep their dreams of finishing top four in the premier league alive.
That victory proved the former Chelsea midfielder is bent on making Chelsea a force to reckon with in England. With seven matches left to end of season, the Blues need to be focused.
Lampard was heard offering words of encouragement and tactical tweaks during a first-half drinks break. Though Chelsea struggled to cope with Manchester City’s early surge at Stamford Bridge.
However, his performance in Europe need to be improved upon. Chelsea currently face an uphill task of overturning a 3-0 first-half deficit against Bayern Munich in Germany.
