One of Nigeria’s leading frontline hair care manufacturers SoulMate Industries has donated free facemasks to the nation’s Number One Supporters Club the Nigeria Football Supporters Club.
Presenting the facemasks today at the corporate office of SoulMate Industries in Lagos, the Head of Marketing SoulMate Industries Mr. Obrien described the support as their own way of encouraging the long-term good job of the NFSC in sports.
“We would have done more than this” Mr. Obrien started. “It is good we are starting from somewhere with an iconic organization in the Sports sector like the NFSC”.
“The coronavirus is still not gone though the lockdown has been eased”. “We know that people still need to wear facemasks and obey the relevant directions from relevant authorities”. “We are glad to partner with NFSC on this facemasks project” a delighted Obrien added.
“It is our first step of support towards encouraging the Supporters Club”. “We are looking forward to doing more but that will be later on”. “What is important now is for everyone to survive this pandemic, then we can take it up from there” he concluded.
Receiving the branded facemasks, the National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club Rev. Samuel Ikpea thanked the management of SoulMate Industries and described the gesture as a welcome development.
“We thank the management of SoulMate for this support” Ikpea started. “This is the first step towards building a relationship with a leading brand like SoulMate Industries”. “We are proud to be associated with SoulMate and it is an honour” Ikpea concluded.
Recently, the Nigerian government has extended the relaxed lock-down for another month. But with directives of ensuring citizens wear facemasks as well as observing other directions from relevant agencies.
