AIPS Issues Disclaimer On IFSJM

The President of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) has issued a disclaimer about the International Federation of Sports For Journalists and Media (IFSJM).

According to a statement issued by AIPS President Mr. Gianni Merlo and circulated by AIPS Africa President Mr. Mitchell Obi on the Rendezvous AIPS Africa platform, it reads:

“In the past days many presidents of national associations have asked me for information about an email and the weird proposal that they have recieved from an association called the International Federation of Sport for Journalists and Media”.

“We have never recognised this association and we have nothing to do with it”.

“So my advice is to forget this proposal because we have information that this organisation has also made a strange request to some of our colleagues”.

“I hope I have clarified everything and I am ready to answer any of your questions” he concluded.
