Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has become a billionaire following a report released by Forbes Magazine.
The Argentine forward becomes highest earning player in 2020, earning $92 million from salary and $34 million from endorsement.
His earning makes him join Cristiano Ronaldo to become the second football billionaire in the world. He now earned $1billion in pre-tax earnings during his career following his earnings Forbes reports.
Lionel Messi recently entertained the world in the past few weeks, when he made moves to leave Barcelona.
He has however rescinded on his decision, and will remain at Camp Nou.
The Argentine will be looking forward to help the Catalan club bounce back, after Barca failed to win a single trophy last season.
