Chairman of newly sworn in executive of the Lagos State Chapter of the Imo State University Alumni Association (IMSU ALUMNI) Mr. Nze Chibueze Anukanti has rolled out his manifestoes with Sports getting a slot in his 7 points agenda.
Anukanti, a Property Consultant and Managing Director of PWAN BAZAAR Properties Ltd, a subsidiary of the PWAN Group of Companies disclosed this in Ikeja, Lagos after his swearing in.
“It’s impossible for our new administration to achieve our goals without sports” he told our correspondent.
“We know the power of sports anywhere in the world and we will use it as one of our policies”. “I’ll see how we can merge sports with other policies and revive the alumni". "That is why Sports is one of our 7 points agenda” he added.
Nze Anukanti did not fail to add that notable past Lagos Chapter Chairmen have a history with Sports, which has to be further explored to give the association the befitting brand which it deserves.
“The likes of Enyioha Chris Anyanwu and Barr. Chinwe Mbakwem amongst others are past chapter Chairmen who adopted Sports”.
“I am not sure we can do much without Sports”. “We shall consult and design sport programmes, and hopefully something great shall come out of it” he concluded.
Aside Sports, other policies which Nze Anukanti rolled out are: Administration (restoring the step-by-step approach of the power house is known for), Reconciliation (to set up reconciliatory committee and bring back aggrieved parties) and seminars and Workshop (geared towards training and retraining of members).
