Burnley became the toast of the premier league following a 1-0 late victory which ended Liverpool’s 68 unbeaten home run at Anfield.
The goal came in the 83′ minutes through Barne’s penalty kick which put the host under pressure.
Liverpool came all out to get an equalizer, but they were bereaved of ideas which saw the visitors escape with a massive three points.
The Reds also had 27 shots on goal against Burnley without scoring a goal, the most they have had since 2013 when they recorded 28 against Reading.
Liverpool Manager described the loss as “massive punch in the face”. It is the first time a team managed by Klopp has gone four league games without scoring since his Mainz side did so in the Bundesliga from November to December 2006
