Bayern Munich beat Al Ahly 2-0 on Monday’s semifinal clash to reach the final of the FIFA World Cup.
The match which took place at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, a host venue for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar saw Lewandowski score twice to give the European champions a slot.
The victory means Bayern now book a final clash on Thursday with Mexican side Tigres, after they bundled out Brazilian giants Palmeiras in Sunday’s other semi-final.
Lewandowski opened the scoring in 17th minutes, before scoring a second later on. It was his 29th goal for club this season from 27 games.
Al Ahly will now face Palmeiras in a third place play-off.
