Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has described Manchester City as the best premier league’s team.
The Italian made the statement on BBC Sport after his side lost 3-1 to City at Goodison Park.
“We are not as same level as Man City” the former Madrid boss told the source.
Ancelotti’s men put up a battling moment that made the first half end in 1-1. But like many others, they soon bowed to the superiority of a ruthless City who scored twice in the second half.
Man City now take 10-point lead at the top of the table with 14 matches left to end the season.
The game was Man City’s game at hand that should have been played on December 28, 2020 but was postponed after City reported a number of coronavirus cases.
City were sixth on the table then, with Liverpool on top of table. But they have now made a clear statement with this victory, announcing their intention to win their third premier league title in four years.
Everton will travel to Anfield on Saturday to face defending champion Liverpool, while City go to Emirate Stadium to face Arsenal on Sunday.
