The Super Eagles of Nigeria are doing a great job in Cameroon, keeping the flag high and instilling unity in the nation with their impressive performances which has given hopes to all that the team would win the trophy for a fourth time.

As the Super Eagles are doing their best, they are also not left alone as they have with them the Nigeria Football Supporters  Club (NFSC) in Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, Cameroun inspiring them to victory.

There is a popular say that the ‘fans are the third team in a match’, no match will be complete or get the adequate hype and inspiration which it deserves without the supporters.

The Super Eagles have also benefited from this, as the sound of trumpets and band which have produced organized music from the fans during these matches have also inspired them.

While the Super Eagles get allowances and bonuses for taking part in the matches, members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club who have become a source of inspiration to them do not get such.

More so, Sports Intelligence Magazine can confirm that members of the club are well-meaning Nigerians who come from different works of life. Some are professionals, business men and women as well as entrepreneurs who have abandoned their businesses for these period to travel all the way from Nigeria to go cheer the Eagles up in Cameroon.

In fact, while the Super Eagles enjoyed the luxury of travelling to Cameroon on air courtesy of Air Peace airline, it was a different thing for the Nigeria Football Supporters Club as some went through the dreaded dangerous roads to enter Cameroon, while others finished their journey through boat by water from Yola all in the bid to show solidarity with the team.

The high cost of paying for hotel, feeding and movement in the city to match venues as well as other up keeps are not left out, these bills come on daily basis while they sojourn in Cameroon. As the Super Eagles move to the round of 16 and hopefully to the final which comes up on February 6, the Nigeria Football Supporters Club must strive to keep up with these expenses.

Driven by passion and love for the game then comes the passionate cry of victory for the Super Eagles in Cameroon

Sadly, while their time and personal financial commitment is involved in this journey, their various businesses which they have also set aside for the period to give support to the Super Eagles may face some set-backs during this period.

No one will abandon his or her business to go support any team in the world if such person is not driven by passion, only passion can do that and that is one thing inherent in the Nigeria Football Supporters Club who found their way to Cameroon to support the Super Eagles.

News of representatives of corporate individuals and organizations who paid visits to the Super Eagles to give financial support to them have gone round, it is also suggested that such support is extended to the Nigeria Football Supporters Club who have so far exhibited high level of patriotism, unity and above all commitment to the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the one Nigeria project.
