Members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) and the football community in Nigeria shall today celebrate the birthday of her National Chairman Rev. Samuel Ikpea.
Rev. Samuel Ikpea’s birthday comeson a day when either of Egypt or Senegal shall celebrate later in the night if they win the AFCON. A coincidental celebration that further adds credence to the life of the football administrator.
Perhaps, Nigerians had hoped that the Super Eagles will reach the final to win the AFCON and probably give room for double celebration, but Nigeria’s ouster will not affect the mood.
Though, Rev. Samuel Ikpea’s birthday is going to be a low key celebration, this is obviously because of the respect which the celebrant have for the tradition of the club.
According to Ikpea, “All formal celebration of reception and entertainment of guests shall not hold today February 6, 2022”.

“It shall hold on Thursday February 24th, 2022 at the National Secretariat, where all those born in the month of February shall have a joint birthday celebration”.
“However, there shall be a Thanksgiving Service today at the Assembly of Faithful Church Worldwide in Lagos after which members will go home and await the celebration which comes on 24th”Ikpea further confirmed.
Since becoming the National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club and a re-election for a second term, Ikpea has raised the bar of the club.

NFSC has strengthened relationship with Consulate General of the Brazilian embassy in Nigeria and others, improved on her data information as well as publicity machinery through her social handles and website.
In area of securing a befitting Secretariat for the club, NFSC has secured a National Secretariat at the strategic Funsho Williams Avenue in Surulere, making it raise the bar to become the foremost Supporters Club which it has always become.

On the international Scene, Rev. Samuel Ikpea’s managerial competence has led to the nomination of himself and key members and associates as members of the Qatar Fan Leaders Network.
Which gives them the responsibility to be Fan Leaders from Nigeria, representing Nigeria and other football fans in the world ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Rev. Samuel Ikpea who is a multiple Sports award winner is a Christian, Pastor and an Assistant General Overseer at the Assembly of Faithful Church Worldwide. He is happily married to Mrs Ikpea and a father of many children.
