Members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) have arrived the Federal Capital Territory Abuja ahead of the crucial Nigeria-Ghana World Cup qualifier which takes place on Tuesday March 29th at the MKO Abiola Stadium.
The club members who had a large chunk of members from Lagos and arrived via their official club bus also had other members from other states joining them for the task.
National Chairman of the NFSC Rev. (Amb) Samuel Ikpea who spoke exclusively with Sports Intelligence Magazine noted that the arrival of members were in line with the “Fill-up Policy” which the NFF and the Sports Ministry had clamoured for to enable us drum support for the Super Eagles.
“This is what we are used to doing” Ikpea started. We have done it in the past and we will continue to do it”. “Even when the NFF and the Sports Ministry called for it, we knew it was not out of place”.
“Our members are ready and fully prepared for the task ahead; we will sing and cheer the Super Eagles to victory”.
“In fact, we would have been more than this, but due to limited funds for logistics, we had to prune down the number of our members present”.
Nigeria host Ghana on Tuesday March 29 in the second-leg of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup at the MKO Abiola Stadium, THE Super Eagles will need outright victory to enable them secure their seventh appearance at the FIFA World Cup.
