Boakye disclosed this during a video-phone chat with Nigerian Journalists, organized by the Nigeria Football Supporters Club at her secretariat in Lagos ahead of the crunchy World Cup qualifier which comes up later in the month.
“First, we will start with a friendly match with the Nigeria Football Supporters Club in Ghana” Abraham started. “This is to let everyone know that the qualifier is not a do-or-die game”.

“The friendly match will be further used as a tool for preaching the peaceful relationship that has exited between we and Nigeria”.
“In fact, the World Cup qualifier which comes up two days after the friendly is a match between two brothers, so there is no cause for alarm” Anraham reiterated.
“What we (Nigeria and Ghana) have done as brothers in the past till date, Europeans have not done it” he added.
Nigeria and Ghana are the first set of nations who both climbed the podium to jointly celebrate any FIFA tournament at the Japan 1993 World Cup despite Nigeria winning 2-1.
Abraham further assured that they are ready to welcome Nigerians to Ghana for the qualifiers and promised that Nigeria will get a warm reception irrespective of the outcome of the result.
