The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), Rev. (Amb) Samuel Ikpea, has described the Super Falcons of Nigeria as Omnipresent.
Nigeria beat Cameroon by 1-0 in Casablanca on Thursday night to reach the semifinal of the WAFCON going on in Morocco, and by extension qualify for the World Cup and the NFSC boss reacted to that feat.
“They are Omnipresent”, Ikpea started. “They were there from the beginning in 1991 and have always been there.”
“They have proved through this qualification that the Women’s World Cup is their birthright, and were resilient during the match against Cameroon”.
“When it comes to world women’s football, the Super Falcons are a team to reckon with, and they have proved this in this match”.
Nigeria will now face host Morocco in the semifinal and will be hoping to retain their trophy which they won in the last edition of the women’s championship.
