Since Zambia won the 2017 edition of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations and reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Korea Republic, where they lost to Italy after extra time, the Zambia U20 have become a force to reckon with.

The Flying Eagles, who won the WAFU B U20 Championship which took place in Niger in May 2022, need to test their hands on a tough side before they face hosts Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique in Group A of the Africa U20  Cup of Nations taking place from February 19th to March 11th this year.

Meanwhile, Zambia will face Tunisia, Benin Republic and Gambia in Group C, while Uganda, Central African Republic, South Sudan and Congo will slug it out in Group B.
