Nigerian singer and Music producer, Timi Dakolo has reacted to Nigeria’s performance against Lesotho in the opener of CAF 2026 World Cup qualifier which took place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Thursday.
Following a 1-1 draw which saw the Super Eagles comeback from a second-half goal from Motlomelo Mkhwanazi 56th minute opener before Semi Ajayi ensured leveled up in the 67th minute Dakolo tweeted on his X account.
He told the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro cannot take the team to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“Dear @thenff, this coach can’t be the best coach available for a country like Nigeria. This is very embarrassing. This man can’t take the Super Eagles to the World Cup. It is actually painful to watch,” he tweeted.

Nigeria will on Sunday face Zimbabwe in their next World Cup qualifier and will be hoping to make up from the game.
