More than 600 students from Stadium High Senior Secondary School in Surulere Lagos, are looking forward to the Sports Essay and Broadcast competition. The numbers were made available to our correspondence by the school’s Principal Mrs. Oloyede, who applauded the initiative.

Oloyede thanked the Tutor-general and Permanent Secretary of the Education District IV for approving a programme of this magnitude, and enjoined her students to key into it.

She also emphasized on the need for more programmes of this nature to help identify and develop talents at the secondary school level.

More so, she informed that the Vice-Principal of Academics Mr Abubakar will be in charge of the programme in the school.

The sports essay competition is an online competition organized by Sports Intelligence Magazine for senior secondary schools. Students are expected to use their knowledge of descriptive, argumentative, expository and narrative essays to express themselves in Sports Essay writing.

Participating students are expected to jostle for top positions in three categories of the competition which are Sports Essay Writing, Broadcasting and photography.
