The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon 2020 has come to an end with lots of interesting moments shared at the 5th edition of the event. Sports Intelligence Magazine captured 7 fascinating moments during the event.

(1) Former Super Eagles Playmaker Austin Jay-Jay Okocha was present to boost the event

(2). The finishing point at Eko Atlantic waited for at least two hours before it was finally dis-virgined

(4) Lagos State Governor Babjide Sanwo-Olu becomes the first to reach the finishing line even before the competing athletes Lol....

(5) David Barmasai of Kenya emerge first in the 42km race. He is also the third Kenyan to win the 5-year-old tournament with a new record of 2:10:23 outclassing fastest record of 2:15:04 record set by Frenchman Abraham Kipromtich in 2018

(6). Sharon Cherop of Kenyan who is second Kenyan to win the female 42km race vomited after setting a new record of 2:31:40.
