The Flying Eagles of Nigeria beat their Tunisian counterparts 4-0 for third place in the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt to pick up the bronze medal.

The match which was played this afternoon at the Cairo International Stadium saw Muhammad Ibrahim open the scoring in the 9th minute to give the Nigerian side an early lead. The Tunisian side put up a tactical defense that made them hold on to the one goal difference even though they did not play like a side that was willing to level up. However, the second-half turned dirty as the Flying went gaga to score three goals and establish their superiority over the North Africans. Ahmed Abdulahi opened the scoring in the 46th minute of the second half to give Nigeria a two-goal lead, and two minutes later, Jude Solomon made it three to put the Flying on course for a comfortable victory. However, in injury time, Jude Solomon scored a late goal to end the tournament with a brace and give the Flying Eagles a resounding 4-0 victory over Tunisia. The win means the Flying Eagles have won the bronze for the third time and it is the 13th time they will finish at the medal level at the AFCON U20 tournament.
