Youngest athlete at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics Juan Faith Jackson of Sierra Leone will be facing the test when she meets World Class athletes in the final of the F46 Javelin throw on Friday September 3 by 7pm Japanese time.

According to reports from SLE NPC Media,15-year-old Juan Faith Jackson will face 27-year-old Hollie Arnold of Great Britain, in a clash that may look like the David and Goliath battle.

The 27-year-old has dominated the F46 javelin in recent years, having been crowned world champion on four occasions and with one Paralympic gold already in the bag from Rio five years ago.

Also, in the final against Juan is Holly Robinson of New Zealand (NZL) who is age 26 years. She has finished second to Britain’s Hollie Arnold at the Paralympics, World Championships and Commonwealth Games in the past, and goes into this Games as the top-ranked athlete.

Juan Jackson of Sierra Leone was able to qualify to the Tokyo 2020 dung the World Athletics Grand Prix held in Tunisia in March this year. She told the press that she is focused and determined to make her mark for Sierra Leone.

The Freetown Secondary School for Girls JSS 3 Pupils rounded up her training and is now under the guidance of her coach for mental alertness to take on the world Stars .

The other Africa that will be competing alongside Juan is Boukoufa Achoura from Algeria who will be bringing her experience from her world championship in Dubai.
