CAF President Ahmad Ahmad has humbled himself after yielding to the agitation and calls of the AIPS Africa to reinstate the media accreditation of Algerian Journalist Nazim Bessol.

The Journalist, who works with Algerian newspaper Botola had his media accreditation revoked by CAF. For his involvement in an investigation that led to the detention of President Ahmad while in France.

AIPS AFRICA condemned the injustice melted on the Algerian Journalist and insisted that the unfair treatment by CAF boss be reversed.

President Ahmad Ahmad seeing the boiling situation of the media in Africa generally, and foreseeing a possible brewing media protest during the AFCON 2019 in Egypt quickly reversed the decision.

Nazim got a fresh mail which reinstated his media accreditation with less than one day to the global showpiece in Egypt.

The Algerian Journalist shared the victory for justice on Press freedom on his facebook page, where he wrote:"Accreditation accepted again! Thank you all for your support!!!

AIPS Africa and the press in general celebrate this victory won for press freedom globally.
