Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp, has sent signs indicating that the Reds under him will end their 28 year premier league drought this season in style.

The premier league current leaders humiliated Arsenal at Anfield in such a manner that made them create a new record going 20 matches unbeaten.

The new record cancels Pep Guardiola's 19 match unbeaten run last season in which City under the Spaniard won the title in style.

The former Dortmund boss since arrival at Anfield have reached three finals but have failed to clinch any title, but it looks as though he will break the trophy drought with the premier league this season.

City's win today reduces Liverpool's nine points lead to seven, while City will be hoping to stop the winning streak of Liverpool when both sides meet on January 3rd for the second time this season at Etihad Stadium
