Egypt's hope of picking the consolidating slot of the men singles on home soil has reduced as Nigeria's Anuoluwapo Juwon Opeyori inflicted another on them to reach the final of the championship.
Anuoluwapo humiliated Egyptian's Adham Hatem Elgamal by 15-21, 21-14 and 21-12 to secure a 3-0 victory over his counterpart in the clash to reach the final.
The win means he reaches the final and also consolidates his chances of picking an Olympic spot with a few other qualifiers to go.
However, in another development Nigeria's Godwin Olofua lost to George Paul of Mauritius in the semifinal, ending the Nigerian's hope of setting up an all-Nigerian final in the men singles.
The result means Anuoluwapo will meet with George Paul of Mauritius in the final, which is expected to be played tomorrow.
