Leicester City has appointed Brendan Rodgers as the new manager after leaving his job at Scottish side Celtic.
The appointment became necessary after the sack of Claude Puel on Sunday after working with the club for 16 months.
The Foxes who won a historical premier league in 2015/2016 season suffered four consecutive home defeats under Puel, the first of its kind since January 2000.
Rodgers who by this appointment made a premier league return after having a stint with Celtic was quoted by BBC Sport source to say: "I'll give my life to make the supporters proud of their club"
Leicester City are currently 11th on the table with 35 points, and Rodgers who understands the premier league having worked with Liverpool and Manchester United will be looking forward to help the club move up on the table.
