The chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Revr. Ambassador Samuel Ikpea was today decorated with the Distinguished Fellow of the Certified Institute of Sports Management (CISM)

Speaking on the occasion which took place at the Club’s secretariat at Surulere, the President/Chairman of the Governing Council of the institute, Dr Segun Atho said that ‘this award is not for sale to the highest bidder. We find the chairman, Revr. Samuel Ikpea of this prominent and credible supporters club as a very distinguished personality in the sports circle. His immerse contribution to sports development in Nigeria has sold him out as a man to be associated with. His is a man of honor and good sports ambassador’

He continued ‘ ‘we are very happy to be associated with you sir. We believe that with you as a fellow of this institution, your wealth of experience in the sports arena will impact on our institution and our working relationship with you’

In his acceptance speech, Revr Ikpea thank the institution and promised to work and identified with them at all times.

‘This is a great honor that demands a positive reciprocation of a cordial and functional relationship from me. I promise to be a good fellow of your institution as I will endeavor in my capacity and with my connections to promote your institution and attract memberships and students to your institution’ he assured.

The event was well attended with the executive and members of the club in attendance.
