Members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) have been thrown into shock following the death of Chief Chidi Ofor Okenwa Enugu FA Chairman.

The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club Rev. Samuel Ikpea who paid tribute to the deceased described his death as a huge loss to the football community in Nigeria.

"Ofor is a man of wisdom and his wealth of experience will be hugely missed" Ikpea added.

"He played a vital role towards the development of football in Enugu and Nigeria generally". "His death will leave the us with vacuum and I pray the NFF recover quickly from this huge loss" Ikpea concluded.

An emotionally devastated Ikpea also directed the Enugu State Chapter of the NFSC led by Elder Frank Amadi to lead a delegate and pay the family of the deceased a condolence visit.

Until his death, Chief Chidi Ofor Okenwa was a member of the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation and Chairman of the Nigeria National League.
