Super Falcons captain Desire Oparanozie has stated that the effort of the team was frustrated during their last group match against France.
The 25-year-old posted on her twitter account: " @oparanozie9 "So emotional reading all messages and comments. I'm glad the world saw how they frustrated our efforts. Thanks to everyone who spoke up. #UnfairJudgement #NigFra #FIFAWWC
France played a penalty which was confirmed by VAR twice and a red card shown to Ebere after receiving a first one in the first half.
Although France lost the first penalty but because Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie flouted the rules of the game in build-up to the penalty a retake was given.
The second was scored leading to France scoring her first and only goal in the 79th minutes against the African champions and grabbing maximum nine points from the group.

Oparanozie who is captain is yet to be convinced that the team was treated fairly following the way the game went.
But a new rule was put in place on June 1, 2019 which the team probably are yet to be acquainted with.
