Chelsea have reached their second EFL Cup final in five years after beating Spurs on penalties at the Stamford Bridge stadium by 4-2.

Blues who lost the first-leg of the semifinal by 1-0 had to overturn the first-leg victory by 2-1 before entering a penalty shootout before they advanced.

The victory also means Chelsea now book an appointment with defending champions Man City who have technically reached the final from their first-leg high margin victory.

Chelsea will now be looking up to give Sarri his first major trophy in his managerial career, while Spurs fail to set up an opportunity to break their 11-years trophy drought.

Both Chelsea and Man City will be looking forward to win their sixth league cup title when they meet at Wembley on the 24th of February 2019.
