Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has signed a new one-year contract that will keep him at the Camp Nou till the end of 2020 season.

The 55-year-old and former Barcelona forward who replaced Louis Enrique since 2017 has won the Laliga and Copa Del Rey.

Barca are currently on top of the laliga table now and are six points ahead of arch-rivals Real Madrid.

Valverde contract was due to expire at the end of the season, but the Spaniard has led the side to 65 wins in his 96 matches in charge, drawing 22 and losing just nine.
