The Director of Sports, office of the deputy governor Edo State Mrs. Faith Irabor has described the SoulMate Sports Women Forum as a home for young girls.

Mrs Irabor who spoke exclusively with Sports Intelligence Magazine from her base in Edo is optimistic that if well nurtured all parties involved will benefit.

“The SoulMate Sports Women Forum will be a home for young girls” she started. “I think it’s a very good initiative”.

“It will encourage grassroots sports development as well as discover talents in schools”. “I am sure if its extended to us here it will surely become a boost for female athletes in Edo State.

When asked if she has ever heard of SoulMate brand before, Irabor replied:

“I have never heard of the brand before”. “But I think the initiative has given me an opportunity to know of SoulMate”. “It is good I got to know of it from the positive side” she concluded.

Mrs Irabor who is also a member of the Edo 2020 LOC charged with the responsibility of planning the postponed National Sports Festival due to the coronavirus pandemic has promised to give the initiative the needed support.
