The Valedictory service held in honour of a late Judge at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos today has led to the postponement of the FOI Act case filed against the President of the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation.
Counsel to the applicant Nwobodo Esq. confirmed this exclusively to Sports Intelligence Magazine in Lagos.
"We all got to Court this morning only to be informed that no court would sit at the Federal High Court" Nwobodo said.
"The hearing has been postponed to 2022" he added.
The hearing of the case was fixed for December 6, but the latest development meant the case has been adjourned to March 2022, on a day in which the business of the court is expected to continue.
However, information reaching us also confirmed that counsel to the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation was conspicuously missing in Court.
