USA beat malnourished Flying Eagles 2-0 in the Poland 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup to grab their first points.

Two brilliant goals from Sebastian Soto in both halves guaranteed victory for a US side that were more tactical than the flying eagles.

The victory means USA keep their hopes of qualifying alive despite losing their opener to Ukraine by 2-1.

The Flying Eagles played without character and were extremely poor and weak in finishing. They failed to replicate the kind of performance they exhibited against Qatar when they demolished the Asian side 4-0 in their opener.

Ukraine who earlier defeated Qatar by 1-0 lead Group D with six points. While Nigeria and USA both share three points each.

The loss means the Flying Eagles must get an outright win when the face Ukraine in their last Group match on Thursday to keep their hopes alive.

The Flying eagles who have reached two finals in the U-20 Championship. They will also be looking forward to clinch the title in this edition.
