The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) has extended Covid-19 support to former Green Eagles defender Sunday Eboigbe.
Sunday Eboigbe got a cash of N20, 000 in his residence in Edo State. Sports general admin Joseph Isokpehi made the presentation on behalf of Rev. Samuel Ikpea.
Rev. Samuel Ikpea could not physically make the journey due to the lockdown on interstate travel. But he ensured the needful was done.
Ikpea had read the situation report of Eboigbe as posted by the admin Harrison Iyomana. The cash support was a quick response to the situation.
Ikpea who spoke with Eboigbe on phone described the current situation as an opportunity to assist people.
“This is my own little way to assist the former defender after I read the situation report”
“Eboigbe gave all during his playing days and should not be forgotten at this point”
In his response, an elated Eboigbe and his wife were full of praises for Rev. Samuel Ikpea for his support.
“Honestly, I never expected this today, am so happy that someone could remember me at this critical period”. “This money will do a lot for me this period, I am grateful”
