Eric who was popularly called 'Erico' died on Wednesday morning. He was a former Nigerian international goalkeeper before he became a coach.
His death means he joins the duo of his former colleagues Stephen Keshi and Amodu Shuaibu who passed on in 2016.
The trio were members of the technical crew that qualified Nigeria for the Japan/ Korea 2002 World Cup. His death also marks the end of the crew that qualified Nigeria for the World Cup and AFCON.
Erico who was reported not to have woken up in the morning was in the Green Eagles team that finished third at the 1976 Africa Cup of Nations in Ethiopia.
