The recent visit of officials of Brazilian giant team Santos F.C to Nigeria, has revealed that one of the players who won the FIFA 1970 World Cup with the Brazilian national team was a Nigerian.

He disclosed that Santos' visit to Nigeria for a second time only afforded Edu an opportunity to make a second visit to Nigeria after his first visit with the Brazilian squad in 1969, when he played alongside Pele in the Ceasefire match which took place at the Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.
