The newly remodeled Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan will be officially commissioned on September 1, 2021.

According to report published on the Rendezvous AIPS Africa whatsapp platform, the stadium will be commissioned by his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde.

An array of events have been scheduled to make the occasion glorious with two football games to be played.

First, Ex Super Eagles players will be up against Ex Shooting Stars players with the second match which promises to be the pick of the bunch will be between Shooting Stars Sports Club and Slovenia first division side NK Tabor Sezana.

The match will be played at night to show the aesthetic nature of the reconstructed stadium.
