Barca secured massive victory to extend their lead.over Madrid on the table with five points

Spanish La liga leaders Barcelona resumed their campaign with a 4-0 win on Saturday over Mallorca.

Vidal opened scoring for the Catalans in first two minutes of play. Braithwaite made it two before the break in 37’ minutes.

Alba scored another79’ minutes before Messi sealed the victory in injury time.

Both teams rued several scoring chances that should have been converted to goals. This however suggests that the coronavirus break must have had an impact on players’ performance.
