The Nigeria football community are buzzing over the birthday cash and jersey give away of Vitoria Guimares defensive midfielder, Mikel Agu as he celebrated his birthday yesterday.

Speaking on the auspicious moment, Tijani Babangida, MON, President of National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers (NANPF), thanked God for the life of Agu.

"We want to take this opportunity to wish him a happy birthday". Furthermore, "the players union join the Nigerian football community to celebrate him".

"We pray that God will continue to guard, protect and bless him, to the betterment of Nigeria and Africa "the former Ajax Amsterdam winger remarked".

It will be recalled, that Mike Agu's foundation recently distributed food items and cash as palliatives a few weeks ago in Delta State. This was to help cushion the pains of the lockdown as occasioned by the Covid-19.
