”NFF Is Alien, Not Known To Law”-Fanny Amun

Japan 1993 U-17 winning Manager-Coach Fanny Amun, has revealed that the current Nigeria Football Federation is an illegal structure.

Amun, a former secretary general of the defunct NFA revealed this in an interactive session on Football Gist And News whatsapp Platform powered by Sports Intelligence Magazine.

Amun also voiced out in his critical assessment that the Sports Ministry is yet to speak out on the anomaly.

"The sports ministry has never interfere but they have the party roles over federations". "To regulate, oversight function, government political will and corporate value of sports" he added.

"The NPFL had full autonomy under the Alhaji Ibrahim Galadinma". "They wanted to assume the roles of the federation and refused to be regulated"

"Politics of power play started and some of the same people plotted the exit of the credible executive board of Alhaji Ibrahim Galadinma by creating crises that FIFA eventually intervened”

“One turn they said deserved another with the same same trouble set into the NFF now confirmed the position of the Galadinma led board, but it has been the same till date”.

Sports Intelligence Magazine confirmed that a Bill for an Act to repeal the Nigeria Football Association Act and endorse the Nigeria Football Federation Act ("NFF Act") has been passed by the National Assembly of Nigeria in 2019. However, President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to assent for the Bill to become law.
