President of the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) Dr Demola Are has told stakeholders in the game of rugby that nothing meaningful can be achieved in his administration unless the club owners are duly represented.

Dr Are a seasoned sports administrator stated this on the Rugby Forum platform while making submission on the way forward for Rugby development in Nigeria yesterday. "Our number one task is to ensure we have a viral and generally accepted constitution” he started “We cannot do this without the Club owners". "They need to come together and put their differences behind so that they can have a chairman and secretary and then send a representative to Edo State". "The club owners need to have a representative who will project their thoughts, because the constitution makes provision for them to be represented" he clearly stated. Dr Demola further hinted that the voting right of club owners will give credence for the constitution to be ratified and then place this administration on the developmental goal path which is the desire of every Rugby stakeholder. He further added that the ban on Rugby Nigeria can only be lifted if the constitution is ratified and then forwarded to Rugby Africa before they (Rugby Africa) now take it to World Rugby for the ban to be lifted. He also spoke about his experience during outing to other African countries and expressed the need for Nigeria to be back as soon as possible. "From my two visits outside this country to Ghana and Kenya, everybody wants Nigeria back". "We have the players, we have the resources and we have the backings". "They all want us back, so it now left for us to put away our differences and sort this issues out" he concluded. "
