Former 3SC and Plateau star Sunday Adetunji reappeared yesterday in Ikenne to give Iganmu FC all three points in the opening game of the 2020/2021 NLO season against Buruj FC.

Iganmu FC began the game with determination and ceaseless onslaughts to nick the opening goal. All efforts yielded no dividends until the 38 minutes as experienced hitman Adetunji slotted the ball into the net off a fast attack.

Youthful Buruj came out smoking in the second probing for the equaliser. It eventually got its goal deep into the game.

The goal brought the fire in Iganmu as they laid on siege on their opponents half, asking all the questions.

The much needed response came in the 84 minute through lanky Adetunji to complete his brace. And handed his side all three points.

Obviously elated, President of Iganmu, Abayomi Egbayelo described the victory as a good one that would put the team in good stead in its quest for the promotion ticket.
