Oliver Giroud's spectacular overhead kick goal did not only make Chelsea get a vital away win against Atletico Madrid in Bucharest, but it also made him set a record for himself.

The 34-year-old became the oldest Chelsea player to score a Champions League knockout goal for Chelsea. The French international was 34 years and 146 days when he scored the goal.

He has scored six Champions League goals this season, his best return in a single campaign in the competition.

Aside giving his side victory, he also help new manager Thomas Tuchel sustain his unbeaten run which has now reached eight since the sack of Frank Lampard.

The Blues will host the second-leg with an away goal advantage on March 17, 2021.
