Southampton boss Nathan Jones has come up barely 24 hours after capturing Paul Onuachu to reveal why his side signed the lanky Nigeria’s international.

The manager who disclosed this said the lanky tall Nigerian is experienced and very difficult to play against.

“Paul is a significant signing for us and completes what has been an extremely positive month in terms of recruitment.

“He’s a handful to play against, has got a tremendous record throughout his career and he’s also someone who brings great experience with him, so he’ll be a positive addition to the squad", he said.

The English Premier League club completed the acquisition of Nigerian forward on transfer deadline day, as they continue their quest to retain their Premier League status.
