Reports are confirming that Five Bayern Munich players revolted against former boss Carlo Ancelotti, and this led to his sack says club president Uli Hoeness. Italian manager Ancelotti was sacked by the Bavarians following their 3-0 humiliating loss by Paris Saint-Germain in the French capital during the Champions League on Wednesday evening. Generally, Bayern have had an under performance start this season, they are currently third in the Bundesliga table after six matches with 13 points and are three adrift Borussia Dortmund who are currently league leaders. Hoeness who spoke to Sport1 confirmed the Italian manager had five players against him and lost control of the dressing room at the Allianz Arena, and this led to his dismissal. According to report from Mirror Sport, Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rumenigge said there must be 'consequences' in the immediate aftermath of Bayern's defeat in the French capital. And after relieving Ancelotti of his duties, he added: "Since the start of the season, the performance of the team has not met our expectations, and the match in Paris has shown clearly that we had to make conclusions. Rumenigge stated that the decision of the club to fire the Italian manager will not affect his relationship with Ancelotti: "Carlos is my friend and that will continue, but we had to take a professional decision for FC Bayern."
