Prudent Energy Gives Handball Players N5.5m Palliative

The official Sponsor of the Handball Premier League in Nigeria Prudent Energy and Services has approved a sum of N5.5m for players in the league.

According to a statement from the President of the Handball Federation Samuel Ocheho, he said the sum will make each team participating in the Prudent Energy Handball League get a sum of N250,000 each as palliative due to the covid-19 pandemic.

A delighted Ocheho said: "This is their own way of showing to the players that they care and as sponsors will continue to do all to make players comfortable".

"They look forward to the league resuming soon so that handball players can continue doing what they love doing best".

Ocheho who charged the players to appreciate the support from Prudent Energy said:"Please accept this as their token to the development of the game in Nigeria"

On behalf of handball players and Athlete Commission, the President of the Handball Association Samuel Ocheho thanked Prudent Energy for their support, describing the gesture as a Great Boost.
