President of Taekwondo's Supporters Club of Nigeria ACP Gideon Akinsola has reiterated that the appointment of Rev. Samuel Ikpea as ambassador of the club is as a result of his proven track record and commitment towards the development of Sports in the country.

Akinsola who spoke exclusively with Sports Intelligence Magazine stated this after the Executive Director of Greatdynamics Talents Rev. (Amb) Samuel Ikpea was recently unveiled during the week as an ambassador of the Club in Lagos. "Ikpea has played so much role in sports development in Nigeria and the much we can do to promote Taekwondo in the country is to get him closer so we can tap from his wealth of experience"

"I was with him in France for the 1998 FIFA World Cup and have observed him closely, he is a resource person and has got so much to give to enable us boost Taekwondo in Nigeria". "Ikpea who is also the National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club rose from the position of the Secretary-General of the club to that height, and that shows that he has been consistent and has got some wealth of experience".
