Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Chairman Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi will today Wednesday April 16 mark his birthday.

Sani Lulu is a friend, an exceptional leader and strong supporter of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club. He showed that during his reign as the glasshouse boss and made positive impact on the NFSC.

According National Chairman of the NFSC Rev. Sam Ikpea, "Lulu was never a boss, but a leader who proved his leadership quality with the little time he was in charge of the NFF".

During the Angola 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, Sani Lulu who was the then Chairman of NFF kept an eye on the Supporters Club, and gave adequate attention to them. He would personally come to their hotel and camp to check on them and gave them moral and financial support.

In the area of ensuring smooth and comfortable transportation of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Sani Lulu remains unforgettable; he supports trips and most times do follow-ups to ensure successful arrivals of the club members.

The NFSC is the second team of the Super Eagles as all members of the NFSC are provided with the official kits which the main team wears, without any sentiment as he strongly believes that Nigeria Football Supporters Club plays the game from the stand while the team are on the pitch.

His role with the NFSC made him become a force to reckon with so much, that he earned invitations to several of their occasions amongst which are the First ever End of Year Party of NFSC and others. Most importantly, he was also an observer during the executive election of Club which took place in Lagos.

The only impediment keeping the Nigeria Football Supporters Club far from him on this special day is surely the Covid-19 which has given restrictions to movements among other recommendations coming with it.

As Sani Lulu adds a year today, the Nigeria Football Supporters Club rejoices with him, wishing him a happy birthday and asking the good Lord to give him many more years ahead.
