Age Cheat Scam: Japan Produce Evidence To Show Guinea Players Cheated

The Japan Football Association on Wednesday produced a stunning evidence to CAF that shows that two Guinean players lied about their age. In an earlier allegation, Senegal had accused two Guinean players (Ahmed Tidiane Keita and Aboubacar Conte) of making new passports which they used to reduce their age by one year according to reports from goal. The complain was based on the fact that Guinean players had used a different passport during the U16 International Dream Cup hosted by Japan from 14 to 18 June in 2017. Guinea cruised to the final on Wednesday after beating Nigeria 10-9 on penalties and by so doing, qualified for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup. The Senegalese Football Federation have threatened to head to CAS if CAF fails to disqualify Guinea. and this means all their results will be cancelled. If Senegal's petition gets positive result in either CAF or CAS, Nigeria may be favoured to scale through to the final.
