Simoiben Futbol club have congratulated one of their players, Emmanuel Michael who was included in the Golden Eaglets national team for the WAFU-B U-17 championship which kicks off in Ghana from Saturday

A proud Simoiben Futboll club went to their twitter account and tweeted:

“Our Player Emmanuel Michael made the Nigeria U17 team for the WAFU B Championship”. “Congratulations Mike, Goodluck to you and the team”.

The cadet defender who can be likened to Uche Okechukwu, is a player with skills and strength who is included in the Nduka Ugbade 20-man squad.

This is not the first time Simoiben Futboll club have produced a player who has been privileged to adorn Nigeria jersey in a championship of this level.

It will be recalled that the Kaduna based team had also produced the WAFU-B U-20 title winner and Flying Eagle, Benjamin Frederick who was part of Ladan Bosso’s team in Niger.

So much will be expected from Michael and his teammates when they file out against Ghana in Cape Town, they will be looking forward to pick a slot for the AFCON which will be played in Algeria.
